How long have you been doing this?
A.I have been a hobbyist photographer for over 30 years. I started specializing in dance photography in 2018
How many photos do we get?
A.For artistic dance shoots and senior sessions I deliver at least 15-20 images per hour of shooting (usually many more than that especially for outdoor shoots).
Pointe Promotion packages include at least 5 edited digital image downloads with option to purchase additional from gallery.
Headshot sessions include 3 fully retouched digital image downloads and print release.
How do we get our photos?
A.All photos are delivered via a PIN-protected private online gallery where high resolution and websize photos can be downloaded to your personal computer.
Do you retouch photos?
A.Headshot sessions include full retouching.
Senior sessions and dance sessions include basic blemish and bruise removal and color corrections. Additional retouching can be added for a fee.
What's your turn around time?
A.2-4 weeks depending on length of session.
Rush editing of headshots in 3 days available for an additional fee

A.You can reach out to me via email, text, instagram messenger, or my website "contact us" form ad we can discuss your session vision and pick a date and location.
Can you help us with planning?
A.Absolutely! we can discuss locations, concepts and wardrobe prior to your session
What should I wear for headshots?
A.For kids and teens solid, bright colors that complement your skin tone.
Avoid patterns, avoid spaghetti strap tops, and avoid solid black unless it is very new and lint-free.
For ages 8 and under, no makeup necessary. Age 8-12 just mascara and lip gloss if you wish. Age 12 and up, natural light makeup, I do recommend at least mascara. I just really helps the eyes to pop when framed with contrast. Of course, it is completely up to you!
What should I wear for my senior session?
A.Things that make you feel confident! Warm, neutral colors mixed with white and denim are always a good choice. Avoid busy patterns though. Depending on the length of your session you may do multiple outfits. I would suggest at least one casual/cute that shows off your personality and one a little dressier so Grandma can frame it ;-).
If you participate in a sport and would like to incorporate your uniform and equipment, we can do that as well.
What should I wear for a dance shoot?
A.For the promotion to pointe portraits I highly recommend a classic ballet look: black leo, clean pink tights, hair in bun. I have black or white ballet wraps and a pink or white tutu available for the shoot.
For artistic dance shoots the options are limitless! I do have a client closet with several flowy fabric skirts and tutus that pair well with your leotards or tops. I also have several dresses to choose from. All dancers should bring one or two leotards, black or neutral fitted dance shorts, a sports bra or crop top, and a nude or clear strap bra if needed (think recital bag, bring a bunch of stuff you might need for multiple outfit scenarios). you can also bring a favorite costume, urban wear, pointe shoes, tap shoes, cool thrift store finds-be creative!
